    Nowadays high school students are occupied with their studies, so students’ opinions on whether they should take part in school activities differ as follows.

    40% of the students are in favor of such activities. They think that learning from textbooks is not their only task. They should take every chance to get some practical knowledge. Also, after long hours of study, they can get refreshed and relaxed by taking part in school activities.

    However, more students are against the idea. They are convinced that their time should be spent on studies. Besides, they feel that school activities have little to do with their further development.

    In my opinion, I prefer the first view. For one thing, we can learn a great deal from such activities. For another, many qualities are required of young students, so only learning from textbooks isn’t enough.           (117 words)
