   How’s everything going? It’s been almost a week since I left America and I miss you very much. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to live in your family while I was an exchange student in America.

   During my stay in US, your kindness and colorful American traditional festivals did let me overcome my homesickness. Take Halloween for example. On October 31, we children put on strange or frightening masks and clothes, and carried bags to visit our neighbors from house to house and shouted trick or treat. The adults must put some candies into their bags, or the naughty children would play tricks on them. I like Halloween not only because it is a crazy day, but also because it brings me the satisfaction of being young. These experiences left me a good and lasting memory,which helped me learn more about American culture. Thank you very much.

   I hope you’ll come to China one day. I’ll take you to the places of interest and to feel Chinese traditional festivals in Beijing. Looking forward to your reply.
