I have learned that you need an English editor for the school paper. With great interest in the job, I’m writing to apply for the position.

My name is Li Hua, a student in Senior 2. I believe I meet the requirements of an English editor. To begin with, I love English and do well both in spoken English and written English. Besides, as an editor, computer skills are necessary. Not only can I operate computers skillfully but also I have a good knowledge of  editing software. Most importantly, kind and open-minded, I am willing to offer some of my spare time to serve the students.

Being an English editor, I think, will encourage me to make greater progress in English and computers as well as help me learn more about our school life. Therefore, I sincerely hope you can give me the chance.
