I am Li Hua. Deeply sorry for not being able t attend the lecture on space next Tuesday afternoon. I am writing to you in an effort to ask for a leave.

To be honest. I am dying to seize the opportunity to learn more about space through the lecture given by Sun Jiadong, one of the ten Touching-China Role Models. However, it is on the same day that I am going to participate in my interview for admission into Beijing University for which I have prepared for a long time. Meanwhile, I want to make up for the missing lecture. Would it be possible for me to have my classmates record the lecture? If so, I can enjoy the lecture later.
