Now in the countryside, many children are dropping out of school, which has raised concern nationally. There are several reasons accounting for this phenomenon, one of which is that school fees are too high for many poor families. They can hardly afford to send their children to school, even if they want to. What’s more, some parents are so short-sighted that they are eager to let their children help earn money for the family. Still, there are even some parents who hold the view that it is useless for girls to go to school. As a result, many girls have to stay at home and do housework instead of studying at school.

In my opinion/ As far as I am concerned, children will play an important part in the future of our country. The whole society, especially parents, should place emphasis on the education of children, whether boys or girls, and give them the right to be educated in school.
