I was delighted to hear from you, knowing that you have decided to stop smoking. As you’re always a strong-minded guy, I’m sure you can manage it once you make up your mind. I’m sending you some advice that might help.

First of all, prepare yourself. Throw away all your cigarettes and make a list of all the benefits you will get from stopping smoking. Secondly, be determined. Every time you feel like smoking a cigarette, remind yourself that you are a non-smoker. Thirdly, get help if necessary. Joining a stop-smoking group and talking to friends or doctors are good ideas. Whatever happens, just believe that you will succeed eventually.
